Stuck In A Character: Swanson Films' flagship project

An independent series between France and the United States.

Stuck In A Character is the most ambitious project developed by Swanson Films to date.

Conceived and created by Logan Swanson, this French-American series follows the journey of Loan Smith, a young filmmaker passionate about cinema who pursues a dream often considered unattainable: Building his own place in the audiovisual industry.

Through its adventure, the series addresses universal themes such as identity, ambition, human relationships, success, failure, and the mask that everyone wears on a daily basis.

An internationally focused project

The Stuck In A Character universe is developing across several territories: France, the United States, and Spain.

The first scenes were notably filmed in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, offering an international dimension rarely accessible to an independent production.

A human adventure above all

Since the project's launch, many people have contributed to its development:

A project built without a large studio

Unlike traditional productions, Stuck In A Character is developed independently. The project moves forward thanks to the determination of its team, the support of the community, and the involvement of passionate individuals who believe in the adventure. This creative freedom allows the series to pursue its own vision without compromise.

The goal is not to reproduce these works, but to draw inspiration from their ability to tell striking and memorable stories.

Where does the project stand today?

After several years of development and multiple filming sessions in France and the United States, Stuck In A Character is currently on hiatus. Like many independent productions, the project faces a simple reality: funding.

To enable the series to reach the level of quality it deserves and to finalize the remaining episodes in the best possible conditions, Swanson Films has launched a crowdfunding campaign with a target of €25,000 .

This sum will notably be used to finance:
